5 1/2 months

It's hard to believe Ryker is almost six months old! Although he still has his moments, he's definitely a happier baby these days. Our only wish is he'd go back to sleeping through the night! For some reason, he's started waking up one to three times during the night. We are trying to figure out a good strategy that doesn't involve letting him cry it out.

In the past month Ryker has gotten much better at sitting up, he still topples over after an extended period or if he reaches too far, but otherwise he does great. He also discovered his feet a few weeks ago and loves to play with them, especially while being changed. A new favorite recently discovered is drinking water from mom's glass. Ryker gets so excited and doesn't want to let go!

Jeremy and I have spent most of our free time relaxing and catching up on sleep.
Jeremy's ankle is healing so well, the physical therapist said she can't do anything else until the doctor clears him. Unfortunately, it is a matter of time, not how it looks and feels. It's been about three and a half months and normal recovery is around six, so he's ahead of the curve.
