The first month, he was very cute, but didn't do much. His biggest accomplishments were making noise. In his second month, he started holding his head up (earlier than most, but he has a small head!), batting at toys and smiling. Just before he hit the three month mark he learned to laugh (3/30), although it was still infrequent for the next couple of weeks. April was a great month and we are excited about what May will bring!
Ryker rolled over for the first time April 12th, just a little over a week after three months. His head control continues to improve and his laughter is much more common, especially when mom washes his hands! Ryker absolutely loves to sit up and gets frustrated when laying down for long. He falls over to the sides, of course, but is very good when propped. One of his favorite things to do is to play with the mirror. We also got him a jumping play station, which keeps him occupied for 5-15 minutes, generally enough time for us to grab some food! He is still sleeping well, although he enjoys waking up around 5:30 or 5:45. For a brief time he'd sleep until 7:00, which was a dream for mom and dad, but it hasn't happened for some time so we are having to adjust. It's actually more of an adjustment for dad who gets to keep him occupied so mom can get ready for work.
We are heading on a nice vacation tomorrow, so I'll try to update with fun pictures when we get back!
